A card for Mum

Another week has flown by!  It’s still very cold but we’ve had some beautiful sunshine and it’s amazing how much better it makes you feel after months of grey skies and short days.  I’ve been busy sorting out Thomas’ clothes this week; how can one little boy accumulate so much?  I’m filling the charity sacks that come through the door quicker than they arrive but I’m also starting to feel broody again so maybe I should put the sacks in the loft for a year or two?!

For today’s card I used a fantastic sketch by Marianne from the StampARTic blog.  I had a delivery of new stash arrive this week and I used some of my new papers (Fancy Pants) and pink tulle on this card.  The ribbon and buttons are from the pink kit from Truly Scrumptious Crafts.

 

Tomorrow there is a Spring  mini-fest at the Craft Barn so as soon as Dave gets back from work I’m heading off to Surrey for a few hours of crafty fun and a bit of shopping.  I’m hoping to get my hands on the new distress ink pads but I’m sure there will be a lot of goodies that will mysteriously jump off the shelves and into my basket!  Have a lovely weekend.
