Friday Sketchers

This card very nearly reduced me to tears! Tilda was all coloured in but I made the mistake of edging the card with distress ink which I promptly smudged. I tried to clean it up with a waterbrush which only made it worse so she ended up in the bin and I had to start all over again. I am pleased with how this card has turned out though. I wanted to use the flowers on the paper (Dasiy Bucket) so I cut it so they would be on the right of the card and just highlighted them with paper flowers and tiny buttons.

Tilda is coloured with distress inks & water colours and I used yellow H20 on the bow but it wasn't sparkly enough so I added some stickles. This card also qualifies for this week Charisma Cardz challenge which is 'Cupcakes' and the Secret Crafter challenge which this week is 'Spring has Sprung'.

Oh this is lovely, Tilda is v cute, as always, and the DP is gorgeous, I love how you added things to the flowers :-)
It was worth doing twice ha ha
( I did the same thing, almost, I had a card all finished and decided it needed a bit of chalk, well I dropped the whole lot on top of the card n then tipped the water glass all over it !!! you can look back on thse things and laugh !! it just takes time ha ha )

Gorgeous card Sharon! Sorry to read you had a disaster with the edging, it's so frustrating when that happens I know and the image can't be saved. I love how your new image came out, she looks wonderful sitting on the cupcake and the flowers on the paper are perfect! Chris xx

Oh Sharon! So sorry we almost reduced you to tears. It really is upsetting when things smudge at the last second. This is fantastic though. Inspired use of the flowers on top of the flowers on the backing paper. A wonderful creation. Thanks for joining the Charisma Cardz Challenge.
