I can't quite believe it's August already! The time is just flying by and it won't be long until our summer holiday!! My parents got back from two weeks in Crete today. They had a lovely time but the weather was starting to get too hot; it was 40 degrees. I don't imagine we will have that problem on the Isle of Wight but hopefully the sun will shine so we can spend some time on the beach.
I really enjoyed making this card tonight. Sometimes a card comes together really nicely and this was one of those times.
Sorry for the slightly wonky photo! The lovely layout is from the Sketch and Stash challenge. My new stash is the lovely hAnglar girl who I have courtesy of Christine. The papers I've had a while and are by Rusty Pickle (isn't that a fab name for a paper company!). The tag is cut from Bazzil cardstock, distressed with Antique Linen distress ink and then stamped with a Crafty Individuals script stamp. The lace and flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and I'm going to enter this in their current challenge which is 'Lace'.
The inspiration for the colour scheme came from the Shabby Tea Room challenge which is run by my new Truly Scrumptious teamie, Debbie M.
I will be back tomorrow with my Truly Scrumptious DT card and I know you are going to love what our new DT ladies have created!
