Where does the time go?

>> Thursday, 29 October 2009

My little boy will be 2 in just under two weeks and  I can’t believe the time has gone so quickly.  I saw a heavily pregnant lady while we were out today and remember those late weeks when you are so tired, feel so heavy and are just willing baby to arrive!  However, the ‘terrible twos’ are definitely upon us and 7pm couldn’t come quickly enough today!!

This is the card I have made for Thomas.  He LOVES cake so this WOJ image is perfect.  I’ve used the sketch from this weeks ICS challenge and the WOJ challenge this week is to use red, cream and one other colour.

ICS 2

Little Henry is coloured with distress inks, the papers are MME Wild Asparagus and the buttons & ribbon are from my stash.

Sharon I am just loving the distress inks and how you work with them. You have a way of making your images come to life! You certainly have a knack for colouring with those distressed inks. I think the more and more I see your work the more I would love to get some!
I miss that age...2 is just so cute! And sometimes it's a good thing they are cute...

That is so gorgeous! Love the buttons and of course Henry - he is so cute. I use this paper from Elzybells Art Stamps when colour with my pencils and sansodor. Also did you realise that this card would fit our first challenge over at Quixotic Paperie challenge blog perfectly? :) Kimx
