Truly Scrumptious Challenge #5

>> Wednesday, 15 April 2009

It's time for the fifth challenge over on the Truly Scrumptious blog and this week Michele has created a fantastic sketch with the theme of making a card for a child.

I've made this card for my work colleagues 12 year old daughter who I am sure would strongly dispute being a child!!

I've used my Whiff of Joy stamp, Willow with Umbrella, who is one of my all time favourites. She is coloured with distress inks, the shadow and grass with Tombow markers and the umbrella has been stamped twice and layered using silicone glue. All the papers are Basic Grey Bittersweet, the corner decoration is a Cuttlebug die and the sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly. I also added little raindrops of diamond glaze to the spots on her umbrella.

Whimsy Stamps are sponsoring this challenge and there are some lovely stamps for the winner so do pop over to the blog and join in the fun!
