This card took me ages! I had a very busy day at work, my eyes were hurting and there was more layering and mounting for this card than I am used to! The card for this weeks Papertake Challenge. The papers are all Scribble Scrabble and I've coloured Tilda with distress ink and H2O's. I haven't made a DL size card for a while and I'm pleased with the way it looks - not sure about the colour scheme though!

Bleary eyed!

Why? Because it was 12.30am this morning when I finished this card and I was up at 7am this morning with Thomas! I've used Jen del Muro's sketch for this card and I'm also going to enter it for this weeks OCC challenge (birthday card) and the Penny Black Saturday challenge (stars and stripes). The papers are Basic Grey and I've used a matching brad along with a Making Memories flowers and button. I stamped this cute bunny on water colour paper and used my w/c pencils to colour in.

PS. The stripes on the paper are wonky by design, the image is mounted straight - honest!

Blue and green should never be seen.....

LOL! I think they go quite well on this card! This card is for two challenges: Cute Card Thursday where the theme this week is 'water' and A Spoon Full of Sugar where the challenge is to use three different ribbons. I've coloured Lily & Milo with Prisma colour pencils and added diamond glaze rain drops to the umbrella and to the puddle they are standing in. The papers are Basic Grey and I added some beads (I really should use beads on my cards more often) and a punched daisy.

This card is for two different challenges. The sketch is from this weeks SCS sketch challenge and I've added some faux stiching for the Papertake Challenge. I decided not to use patterned paper for this card so I used some Lasting Impressions paper and embossed the green background with some swirls. I've coloured Tilda with Prisma pencils and ran the lilac panel through the Cuttlebug. I added the faux stiching with a glaze pen. I found some lovely buttons in a sewing shop near where I work so had to add one to the flower!

How exciting! Jo at Sketch Saturday is looking for some DT members! The challenge was to create 2 cards (or ATC's or layouts etc) using this weeks sketch and to make one of them with a Christmas theme. I haven't been shopping for my Christmas crafting bits yet but I used my Woodware fairy who came with interchangeable sentiments. I've coloured her with Prisma pencils and added some diamond glaze to her wings. I've used blue metallic card for my base which I ran through my Cuttlebug with the snowflake embossing folder. I used a Hero Arts snowflake stamp (with Staz-on ink) to stamp onto a strip of vellum and I punched the snowflakes from white glitter card and pink metallic card and added a tiny pink gem to the middle.

For my second card I went bright! The paper is from Crate Paper and I've combined it with lime, pink and biscuit coloured bazzil card. I embossed the lime strip with swiss dots. I love this Lily & Milo stamp and I've stamped it onto watercolour paper and coloured with watercolour pencils. I've had the ribbon & slider in my stash for ages.

Fingers crossed!

Here is my card for this weeks Friday Sketchers challenge. I've been wanting to use this paper (Crate Paper) for a while and it seemed just right for this card. It's double sided and I've embossed the paper for the background. Tilda is coloured with Prisma pencils (I think I'm starting to get the hang of them now!) and I've used a white glaze pen to add a few highlights. The flowers are Making Memories and I've threaded the brad through a jewellery spacer bead first to give it a bit more dimension. I used matching CP paper to punch the envelope and then cut the tag with a punch before adding the sentiment. The ribbon just matched the card colours perfectly so I felt I had to include it somewhere!

Two cards to upload this morning. The first is for the Papertake challenge. I love this sketch and have used it for my husbands birthday card. I don't have many stamps suitable for making male cards but this one is very suitable for my hubby! The papers are from Doodlebug and I've inked the edges with distress ink.

My second card is a SCS sketch and also for the Cute Card Thursday challenge which was to use bright colours. I've used my Basic Grey papers again along with some burgandy bazzil card. I cut a slit in the circle to thread the patterned paper through. Tilda is coloured with water colour pencils and I sponged the flowers very lightly with burgandy ink.
